Almost three weeks ago, AC Milan failed to qualify for the Champions League and Cardinale dismissed Massimiliano Allegri, Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare and Geoffrey Moncada en masse. Exactly one month from now, the start of the Rossoneri season is scheduled: medical and fitness tests at Milanello on 12 July and the official gathering the following day, 13 July. AC Milan is still exposed on all fronts: no head coach, no director, no CEO. As a result, the transfer market will also start late, since today there is nobody at Casa Milan laying solid foundations.
Milan cannot really afford to waste any more time...
The Rossoneri club must give direction to its new project if it does not want to start with a significant disadvantage in yet another season that is meant to be one of renewal. At this stage, they are already beyond the latest possible timing. The Quotidiano Sportivo newspaper is aware of this and today headlines the overall situation at Milan as follows:
"Milan, the days of Ralf Rangnick. Time for answers begins."
For the German executive, now head coach of Austria, either it is concluded by the start of next week or it becomes difficult. It reads: "Exactly one month before the summer gathering there are still four positions unfilled. Deadline for the sporting director next week, Oliver Glasner remains in pole position for the dugout," as relayed via Milan News.
