Ruben Amorim is preparing to become the new manager of Milan. According to colleagues at La Gazzetta dello Sport, the name of the Portuguese coach has also come up in discussions with candidates for Milan’s new technical department. In particular, with Markus Krösche, who is currently under contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2028 but is keen on a new experience.
After the halt to the Rangnick track, the German executive born in 1980 has become one of the profiles most appreciated by the Rossoneri ownership for the role of technical director, also because he is a young executive who developed under the wing of the current Austria national team coach, who brought him with him to Leipzig in 2019.
The newspaper reports that Krösche would not have opposed Amorim’s appointment, while he appears to have been more reserved regarding Glasner, with whom he had some transfer tensions during his time at Eintracht. For the role of sporting director, Timmo Hardung, currently at Eintracht alongside Krösche, and Devin Ozek remain names to monitor.
