He had said that it would take a week to reorganise Milan after the complete overhaul of the club's management and the dismissal of Max Allegri, but three weeks have passed instead. At last, however, the Rossoneri club and its supporters can see light at the end of the tunnel: in the coming days (or perhaps hours), Gerry Cardinale is expected to announce that the new Milan will begin again with Ruben Amorim as head coach and Markus Krosche as technical director.

Milan, agreement with Amorim - Gerry Cardinale's approval remains:
This was reported this morning by Corriere della Sera, which explains that the Portuguese coach has beaten competition from Matthias Jaissle and Oliver Glasner and is now one step away from becoming Milan's new manager. The former Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United coach has accepted the draft contract proposed by the Rossoneri: the deal is said to be for two years, with an option for a third season, and a salary of around €3.5 million plus bonuses. The only thing missing before the deal is finalised is Cardinale's definitive approval, which is expected within the next few hours.
AC Milan working on securing Krosche's arrival:
At the same time, RedBird's chairman, together with Massimo Calvelli and Zlatan Ibrahimović, is also working to bring a new technical director to Milan. The chosen candidate, after another lengthy selection process, is Markus Krosche, the current head of football operations at Eintracht Frankfurt, who is under contract until 2028. Milan are trying to secure his release by paying compensation to the German club. If an agreement is also reached with him, he could bring in either Timmo Hardung or Devin Özek as sporting director, with Hardung currently appearing to be the favourite.
