In a video published on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto spoke about AC Milan's corporate future as follows:
"The coach is in place: Amorim has signed until 2028 with an option for one additional year. I can also confirm what I have been reporting for days regarding Krosche, who already has a verbal agreement with Milan. The Rossoneri club is confident of finalising the deal and is convinced that Krosche will become Milan's new Head of Football, despite resistance from Eintracht Frankfurt, which has certainly also been annoyed by the timing of the reports that emerged."
"The truth is that Milan chose Amorim because Krosche gave the green light for Amorim. Milan is working at this very moment to finalise 100% the arrival of the German executive, who is therefore ready to become the new Head of Football of the club. It is a decision Milan made quite some time ago and is now trying to formalise in these hours."
"I would also add, actually, confirm, that Massimo Calvelli has been given full signing authority, meaning that Calvelli has effectively replaced Giorgio Furlani and has become a chief executive officer with signing powers within the organisational structure of the Rossoneri club."
