Perhaps we're finally there: Gerry Cardinale's new Milan has finally taken shape. After weeks of evaluations, the Rossoneri owner, who, after years of delegating, has decided to take a hands-on role personally, has chosen the people who will lead the club. The club is expected to follow a very specific model, namely Liverpool's, where the head of RedBird was for a long time the second-largest shareholder. No new arrivals are expected; instead, figures already working at the club's Via Aldo Rossi headquarters have been selected.

Almstadt to handle transfers with Gardiner and Lomonte alongside him:

This was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, which explains that at the top of the new Milan organisational structure, designed to be very lean, with clearly defined and interconnected areas of responsibility, will be Cardinale himself. Behind him, however, there will be a team-based structure. For example, transfer-market operations will be handled by Hendrik Almstadt, Director of Player Trading, meaning the department responsible for buying and selling players. Alongside him, tasked with identifying profiles suited to the club's needs and aligned with the requirements of new head coach Ruben Amorim, will be Bobby Gardiner, promoted to Director of Football Intelligence, and Donato Lomonte, who will oversee the scouting department. Another figure (already identified) will also be appointed for video analysis and sporting support, technically serving as Head of Recruitment Analysis.

Alongside the sporting structure, there will naturally also be the RedBird organisation focused on the club's day-to-day operations. The new Chief Executive Officer will be Massimo Calvelli, who has already inherited Giorgio Furlani's responsibilities for some time. Other managers from the American investment fund will also support Milan, such as David Castelblanco, Cardinale's right-hand man at RedBird on the investment side, who is already a member of Milan's board of directors. In addition, Zlatan Ibrahimović will continue in his role as an adviser to the ownership.

At Milan, here have also been some confirmations:

Paolo Scaroni will remain president of the club. Likewise, Jovan Kirovski, who had seemed destined for promotion to the first team, will continue overseeing the development of young players assigned both to Milan Futuro and to the club's other youth teams. Vincenzo Vergine will remain head of the Rossoneri youth academy.
