Because of the World Cup and ten AC Milan players being called up by their respective national teams, Ruben Amorim will report to the training camp on 13 July without much of the squad and the best players, and will instead be able to rely on a group that will largely be made up of young talents.
Several players will also return from various loan spells, and these will mainly be the ones the Portuguese coach will want to assess closely before deciding who can leave again and who may potentially stay.

Amorim will evaluate AC Milan's young players:
In this sense, as reported by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the most anticipated young players are Francesco Camarda and Christian Comotto. They have had two different seasons between Lecce and Spezia: the former managed to avoid relegation but was heavily affected by injury, while the latter was relegated but played consistently at a good level.
Alongside them, Kevin Zeroli, Alphadjo Cissè and possibly also Filippo Scotti if he stays, will be closely observed by Amorim and his staff. Also included are Torriani and Pittarella, as well as David Odogu.
