Strong and significant confirmation has arrived regarding the news broken earlier by Gianluca Di Marzio about AC Milan's renewed and serious interest in Mattia Liberali. The 2007-born player has long been pursued by Como, but the Rossoneri are genuinely pushing to bring the 19-year-old talent back to the club.
Or rather, according to the editorial team at MilanNews.it, it is Rúben Amorim who is doing everything possible to convince the player. The Portuguese coach is pushing extremely hard to persuade Liberali to return to the Rossoneri, speaking to him in a serious and concrete way about the role he would tailor specifically for him. Amorim sees the Catanzaro player as the ideal profile for one of the two attacking midfield positions behind the striker in his new Milan side.
For his part, Liberali still has some doubts, especially after what happened last season, about the consistency and direction of Milan's project, although the club has completely changed the people involved this year. It remains to be seen what decision he and his agent, Lucci, will make over the coming days. What is absolutely confirmed, however, is that Amorim is doing everything he possibly can to bring Liberali back to Milanello. On this day of cooling thunderstorms, the phones are quite literally ringing off the hook.
