Milan have lost Mattia Liberali, but last January they signed the other young talent from Catanzaro who had impressed everyone: Alphadjo Cissè.
The young attacking midfielder was signed by the Rossoneri for a fixed fee of €8 million plus a further €1.5 million in bonuses. He was then left on loan at Catanzaro for six months.
The 2006-born player was unfortunate to suffer an injury that brought his season to an early end, and he is now training to ensure he is ready for the start of pre-season.
Will Amorim give Alphadjo Cissé an opportunity?
The player's good fortune could lie with Ruben Amorim, a coach who has always been very willing to give opportunities to young players who prove they are good enough.
For this reason, according to Tuttosport, Cissè has decided not to consider loan offers from Italian clubs (Cagliari) and foreign sides (various Dutch clubs). Perhaps he could turn out to be the surprise package of Milan's upcoming season.
