Youssouf Fofana's future appears to be moving further and further away from both Italy and AC Milan. The relationship between the French midfielder and the Rossoneri never truly blossomed, marked by a mixture of positive moments and disappointing spells.
Having joined from Monaco in the summer of 2024 for €26 million, the defensive midfielder has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe as well as from Saudi Arabia. In January, he was also linked with a move to Fenerbahçe in Turkey, but the Frenchman chose not to leave while the season was still in progress.
This is what Matteo Moretto reported on his YouTube channel alongside Fabrizio Romano:
"Youssouf Fofana is absolutely available for transfer. Milan are currently asking for around €20–25 million to sell the French midfielder this summer. The former Monaco player can leave, but as of today, no offers have been received."
