The current edition of Mundo Deportivo opens this morning on its front page with news of Barcelona’s interest in Rafael Leão.
It is no secret that the Portuguese forward is set to leave AC Milan: the player himself announced it in recent weeks, explaining that he considers his time at the Rossoneri to be over after seven years. His aim is to play in another league, with his dreams being the Premier League and La Liga.
Barcelona will have to dig deep into their pockets to sign Leao:
FC Barcelona are said to have placed him on their radar, aware that Milan have effectively put him on the transfer market. The Rossoneri are looking to sell him outright for a fee between €60 million and €70 million, a figure far below the €150 million release clause included in Leão’s contract.
