Rafael Leão's future will not change with the arrival of Ruben Amorim as AC Milan's new head coach. The Portuguese manager contacted the forward, who is currently involved in the Club World Cup, to gauge whether he would be open to staying. However, despite the good relationship between the two, neither the Rossoneri club's plans nor the player's intentions have changed: they are expected to part ways by the end of the summer.

After interest from Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United, reports from England now confirm that one club has already made a strong move through Jorge Mendes to offer the former Lille player a new challenge: Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham.
According to TeamTalk in England, despite the confirmed interest from the three European giants, neither Rafael Leão nor AC Milan has yet received any concrete offer for a transfer. The club that has taken the initiative by opening talks with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Leão alongside the player's father, is Tottenham, who are looking for a right-footed winger capable of playing on the left flank, as relayed via Calcio Mercato.
Leao open to the move:
Rafael has indicated that he is open to a move to the Premier League, which he considers his preferred destination should he leave Milan. He is also receptive to joining Tottenham, where he could earn a significant salary while playing a leading role in De Zerbi's ambitious rebuilding project.
Tottenham are investing heavily to provide the Italian manager with a squad capable of competing immediately, taking advantage of the fact that they will not be involved in European competitions. It is no coincidence that Spurs have already spent almost €200 million on the signings of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, Leão's former Milan team-mate and close friend.
The financial resources to persuade Milan to sell are therefore available. A total offer in the region of €60 million could be enough to convince the Rossoneri to part with Leão, bringing his seven-year spell in Milan to an end.
