The two images from the last two days that tell the story of Milan are, in fact, the same image repeated 24 hours apart: yesterday, Ruben Amorim arrived at the Milanello training centre for the first time, and waiting to welcome him outside the car was the club’s American owner, Gerry Cardinale.
Today, during the Portuguese coach’s unveiling press conference, Amorim was presented and once again sat alongside the US businessman. This had never happened with any of the managers Milan have had in recent years: a gesture that therefore cannot go unnoticed.
