Despite already having two right-sided wide players in the squad (Alexis Saelemaekers and Zachary Athekame) Milan are considering adding another player in that position. The reason is that Ruben Amorim stated during his unveiling press conference that he intends to try the Belgian on the left flank as well. If that happens, the Rossoneri would need a new first-choice right-sided player.

Milan revive interest in Doué
According to Tuttosport this morning, Milan are evaluating several candidates, including Guela Doué of Strasbourg. The Rossoneri tracked him extensively last summer, but the deal ultimately collapsed because the French club's asking price was considered too high. Milan then turned their attention to Athekame instead.
In recent days, fresh contacts have taken place with Doué's representatives, as the full-back remains highly regarded at the club's headquarters. As a result, his name has once again emerged as a serious option for the Rossoneri.
Amorim also keeping an eye on Mazraoui
Another player being monitored closely is Noussair Mazraoui, the 28-year-old Morocco international currently at Manchester United. Amorim knows him well from their time together at the Red Devils and values his versatility, having deployed him not only as a wing-back but also as the right-sided centre-back in a back three.
At this stage, it is simply a player the Portuguese coach appreciates, but there is a possibility that the interest could develop into something more concrete. Milan could also benefit from their excellent relationship with Mazraoui's agent, Rafaela Pimenta.
