AC Milan are still looking for a second centre-back to strengthen the squad, but barring major twists, it will not be Antonio Silva.
Antonio Silva heading towards Bournemouth
The Portuguese defender, who had often been linked with the Rossoneri by some sources, while others were less convinced about the possibility of a deal, is in fact close to joining Bournemouth.
The news was reported by Fabrizio Romano, according to whom the English club have reached an agreement with the player and are very close to reaching one with Benfica.
Looking for new names
The Rossoneri will therefore continue searching the market for a player to strengthen the defensive department available to Ruben Amorim, who has already welcomed Mario Gila, the ex Lazio and Real Madrid defender.
