Rafael Leão’s intention is clear: to leave Milan after seven seasons in order to try a new experience in his career. The only problem is that, as the saying goes, "there’s a big difference between saying and doing." Just over a month after that public statement in which he revealed his intentions, the Portuguese No. 10 finds himself in a situation of uncertainty due to the lack of concrete offers for him.
Milan are also willing to let him go, but the issue is that, aside from a few tentative enquiries, nobody has truly made a move for the Portuguese winger. Regarding this situation, 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' ran the headline this morning:
"Leão in limbo"
And that is also the state of the Rossoneri’s transfer market, should they fail to resolve Rafa’s future in the near future. If he does not find a new club before then, Leão will have to report to Perth on 29 July.
