According to reports from the Rome edition of La Repubblica, Lazio have opened talks for Santiago Gimenez, who is Gennaro Gattuso’s primary target to strengthen the Biancocelesti attack following the injury to Lorenzo Lucca, who had appeared close to completing a move to the capital from Napoli.
It is understood that Gimenez’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, has already spoken with Lazio, with Milan willing to consider a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy in order to facilitate the Mexican striker’s departure. The Rossoneri value Gimenez at no less than €20 million, a figure that makes the operation rather complicated for Lazio, although the club still intends to try to complete the deal.
