Turkish club Fenerbahçe, who have recently been linked with a move for AC Milan forward Rafael Leão, have addressed the rumours through an official statement.
The club said:
"The reports circulating in the media today claiming that our club is interested in Stuttgart forward Ermedin Demirović are completely false. Fenerbahçe Sports Club has no transfer initiative or negotiations regarding the player in question."
"Likewise, the claims that we have made an offer of around €100 million for Rafael Leão, including both his transfer fee and salary, do not reflect the truth. No such offer has been made to the player or his club."
"Our sole focus is on the second-leg match against Górnik Zabrze in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round and progressing through this tie."
"During this process, we kindly ask our supporters not to give credence to speculative reports aimed at distracting their attention, whether by presenting unrealised transfer attempts as completed deals or by creating stories involving players who are not on our agenda."
