A very poor performance from the AC Milan team as they lost 3-0 against Chelsea in Jakarta. Amorim's side was unable to give the Indonesian crowd a respectable performance. The fans treated the Rossoneri as if they were the European champions, yet every Milan player delivered a performance below the required standard against a Chelsea side that never had to put in any particular effort over the 90 minutes, writes Milan News.
The most worrying statistic was the fact that Milan registered zero shots on target against the goal defended by Sanchez. Amorim essentially used two different line-ups, one in each half, but at this stage of the season, performances like this are hardly encouraging. The Portuguese coach still has a great deal of work to do, particularly when it comes to his players' attitude.
Milan will now return to Italy, with a friendly against Manchester United scheduled for 15 August, before Serie A gets underway the following week. There is less and less time to work, and Milan will need to hope they reach the start of the league season with a completely different mindset, attitude and level of physical condition.
