The club owner is expected in Milan on Thursday for a transfer summit with Portuguese head coach Ruben Amorim and the other Rossoneri directors.
So far, three new signings have arrived: striker Gonçalo Ramos from PSG, defender Mario Gila from Lazio, and Sankhoun Diawara from Troyes.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan are keeping an eye on Sporting Lisbon defender Gonçalo Inacio and Argentine attacking midfielder Matias Soulé, who is set to leave Roma. He is not the only option, but he is certainly one to keep in mind.
On the way out are defenders Athekame, who is set to join Lyon on loan under Paulo Fonseca; Odogu, who is wanted by Anderlecht and Mainz; Tomori, whose possible return to the Premier League is being increasingly discussed; Estupiñán, should new offers arrive after Aston Villa’s proposal was turned down; and Terracciano, whose representative has held talks with Monza and Udinese.
In midfield, Fofana has been contacted by Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Villarreal, while Musah or Ricci could also leave, with the latter attracting interest from Atalanta.
Up front, Gimenez is in negotiations with Porto, who are coached by Italian manager Francesco Farioli, writes Calcio Mercato.
Leao is a separate case. The Portuguese winger now wants to stay, but he continues to be courted by Galatasaray, who are ready to make another attempt to bring him to Turkey, in response to Fenerbahce’s move for Lukaku and Besiktas’ pursuit of Vlahovic.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim is considering trying French midfielder Adrien Rabiot as an attacking midfielder, in the same role he played at Marseille under Roberto De Zerbi, where he scored eight goals and provided five assists in 22 starts.
