Jean-Philippe Mateta gave an interview to Canal+ Foot, in which he also spoke about his failed move to Milan, which collapsed after a knee injury was detected during his medical examination. Here is what he had to say.
Mateta recalls Milan medical:
"I was undergoing my medical and, all of a sudden, everything stopped. In fact, my knee injury was more serious than I had been told. When they explained it to me, a thousand thoughts went through my head."
Mateta with no regrets
“In the end, I have no regrets, because if I hadn’t undergone those medical tests, how long would I have continued to carry this knee problem? Fortunately, I had them done and found out exactly what was wrong.”
