Well-known Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has spoken about Rafael Leao's current situation in the market. Here's what he had to say via 'Calciomercato - L'Originale' on Sky Sport Italia.
"Regarding Leao, the two most concrete options remain Aston Villa and Galatasaray. There have been ups and downs with Aston Villa, as yesterday evening it seemed very close to reaching an agreement with Milan, while this morning Milan’s demands caused the talks to cool somewhat. However, there were further contacts this evening, so I would keep the Aston Villa option alive."
Galatasaray have not given up on Rafael Leao
"They are the club that have been working on this for the longest, so it is absolutely not ruled out, in fact, quite the opposite, that Gala could come back strongly in the coming days in an attempt to get ahead of Aston Villa and bring the Portuguese forward to Turkiye.”
