Markus Krösche could leave Eintracht Frankfurt in a very short time. According to BILD, a seismic split could be on the cards between the director and the German club, helped by a contractual clause that would allow him to leave at the end of the transfer window. The 45-year-old from Hanover had been heavily courted by the Rossoneri throughout the summer, to the point that there was a growing belief within the Milan club that his arrival was imminent. However, the move ultimately fell through due to Eintracht’s determination to keep him, as pointed out via Milan Press.
After receiving several rejections in their search for a replacement for Igli Tare, Milan opted for a temporary internal solution, promoting Hendrik Almstadt and Bobby Gardiner. The role of sporting director remains vacant, however, which means Krösche could once again become a possibility... although, for now, it is merely an idea driven by Milan’s need to fill the position.
