With the transfer window for incoming deals now practically closed across Europe, today is already the day for the first initial assessments of how the 20 Serie A clubs have fared. The Corriere dello Sport editorial team has also carried out its own assessment, assigning a grade and a verdict to the transfer activity of each team in Italy’s top flight.
AC Milan were awarded a 6.5 for their transfer window, with the reasoning explained as follows: "A revamped attack, with Santiago Gimenez, Leao and Christopher Nkunku leaving and Gonçalo Ramos, Hutchinson and Diego Moreira arriving. The ideas are there; now we need to see how the new arrivals will gel. Gila in defence."
