Former Rossoneri forward Alexandre Pato also spoke about Luka Modric and his decision to continue playing with the Rossoneri.
Here are his words to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport':
"If Modric had been in my Milan team, it would have been fantastic to see him in midfield alongside Ambrosini, Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf, Kaká... Modric brings class to Milan and I am happy that he decided to play another year in our shirt. He has had an incredible career, but I hope he can win another trophy with Milan."
Alexandre Pato's assessment of AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim:
"I like Amorim because his football is in line with the club’s history. Amorim is a good coach and he has shown that so far through the results and the work he has done. Now everyone expects him to bring Milan back into the Champions League and perhaps even win the league. However, it is right to give him some time because he has only just arrived. He needs to get to know the squad thoroughly and understand the difficulties of Serie A, which is a tough league. I have the feeling that Amorim will do well this year and give the fans plenty to be happy about."
