Alongside Diogo Leite, Lazio’s new defender, during his presentation press conference was the club’s sporting director, Angelo Fabiani, who spoke about the summer transfer window:
“We need to wait for further checks by the relevant authorities. At first glance, we signed six players and lost four, some of whom were out of contract. Multi-year contracts have an impact on the overall wage bill. Lazio’s fortune is that we have built up the value of our squad; individual players have value, and that gives us peace of mind."
