Filippo Galli spoke to “Radio anch’io sport”, a programme broadcast on Rai Radio 1, about Milan following their win over Lecce yesterday evening. The former Rossoneri youth academy director highlighted the importance of the victory and came to Ruben Amorim’s defence.
Here are his words.
“Yesterday, Milan sent an important signal in terms of their style of play and performance. They have the third-best attack in the league, while they have some shortcomings defensively and need to improve.”
On Amorim:
“Amorim was immediately crucified, especially by the fans, and that is a shame. You need to give time to build something. This is a Milan side that wants to be less pragmatic and more proactive in their style of play.”
