Adrien Rabiot is becoming an increasingly central and indispensable figure for Ruben Amorim’s Milan, thanks to his versatility in playing as a ball-winner, a midfield anchor and a link between midfield and attack.
After a start to the season affected by his late return from holiday and an initial management of his fitness, with decisive substitute appearances against Torino, where he scored and provided an assist, and Venezia, followed by his first start as a trequartista against Juventus and subsequent starts against Lazio and Lecce, his future position is now becoming clear alongside the Rossoneri midfield.
The club, impressed by his willingness to contribute and his recent declarations of attachment to the shirt, intends to offer him a contract extension and make him a long-term pillar of the team. His current deal runs until 2028, with an option for 2029, and includes a €3.5 million salary. It could be extended at least until 2030 through a two-year renewal, or a two-year deal with an option for a third season, allowing the Frenchman, who will turn 32 in April, to finish his career at the highest level in Milan.
