Amorim needs a sporting director
Today’s edition of Tuttosport confirms this, noting that the Portuguese coach needs someone alongside him at various stages.
Cardinale has been very close to the team in recent months, but he obviously cannot do what a sporting director does, namely support the coach in the transfer market and, above all, in managing the squad, while being able to follow the team on a daily basis.
The names on Milan’s list
46-year-old German executive Markus Krösche, Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director who was already targeted last summer, was mentioned again yesterday. There have been some denials from the Rossoneri, but the German remains the leading candidate.
According to the newspaper, the list should also include José Boto, Flamengo’s head of football who knows Amorim well, and Devin Özek, who is a free agent following his departure from Fenerbahce.
