Ruben Amorim gave an interview to SportMediaset from Milanello at the start of the final week of the international break.
The Portuguese coach spoke about the team and individual players. Here are his statements:
“I don’t know what will happen with the team’s rotations. I’m not thinking about giving everyone minutes, but what I will do is field the best 11 to win the game. Formation? The important thing is our ability to switch between systems, but the principles are the same. I don’t see three, four or five defenders, but rather principles that we need to bring onto the pitch. And during games, we adapt, as we did against Lecce.”
On Luka Modrić, Amorim said:
“When we play well, it’s because Luka is playing well. We expect a lot from him. I’m not interested in his age, I’m interested in what I see during the week and what I want to see at the weekend.”
On Gonçalo Ramos:
“I know he is under a lot of pressure. He is a Milan player, he has to get used to that. I just want Ramos to continue working as he has been doing.”
