Luka Modric is one of the four candidates to win the 2025-26 Serie A Gentleman Fair Play Award. The Milan midfielder has been included among the finalists for the 31st edition of the prestigious award, which will be presented on the evening of Wednesday, 7 October, at the Teuliè Military School in Milan, as reported by Milan Press.
The Gentleman Award finalists:
The Croatia captain and midfield leader will compete for the traditional “golden tower” of San Siro alongside three other protagonists from the latest Serie A season: Inter’s Federico Dimarco, Juventus’ Manuel Locatelli and Lazio goalkeeper Edoardo Motta.
Modric not the only Milan figure honoured: Zambrotta also set to receive an award
The new "Gentleman of Serie A" will be announced during the evening. For Modric, this represents another prestigious nomination, this time linked not only to what he has shown on the pitch, but also to the values of sportsmanship and fair play that underpin the award.
The evening will also feature several special awards. Among those set to be honoured are Inter president Beppe Marotta and Arianna Fontana, while Gianluca Zambrotta, the former Milan defender and 2006 World Cup winner, will receive the Gentleman Career Award.
