The Rossoneri are already two days away from another challenge: Bournemouth vs AC Milan on Thursday. In fact, the Italians will be in action in the third round of the Europa League, once again away from home.
Amorim will manage his resources. Whether with a positive outcome, as against Salzburg, or with less fortune, as was the case in the European debut against Benfica, only the pitch will tell. Squad rotation is a necessity, considering the many fixtures scheduled close together: when the league resumes, another away match awaits at Udinese, as relayed via La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition.
Bournemouth vs AC Milan: rotations expected
In defence, there could be another opportunity for Tomori, the only real alternative considering Gabbia's unavailability and Diawara's inexperience, with the latter having played his first minutes for the Rossoneri against Salzburg. In midfield, Jashari and Loftus-Cheek are demanding more playing time, while on the flanks, Bartesaghi and Hutchinson are pushing to reclaim the left and right sides respectively.
In attack, the youngster Cisse, who scored a hat-trick in the last European outing, will probably get another opportunity to start. It is unlikely, however, that the centre-forward will change: Ramos is once again favoured over Camarda.
