Ruben Amorim spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of Bournemouth-Milan. His words:
Today marks Amorim’s 100th day in charge of Milan…
"I want to tell the whole club that I am very grateful because they welcomed me very well. I immediately felt part of a family. I don’t want to take stock, I just want to say thank you. It was important to feel at home from the first day, at Casa Milan, at Milanello and at San Siro."
The team seemed more confident:
"I think it is normal. When you win, you feel more confident and go into training in a better mood. I feel that now they are confident not only because of the victory but also because of the way we play."
How are the injured players?
“I couldn’t say about Chukwueze, I think it is a different problem compared to Ramos. In Gonçalo’s case, it is a precautionary absence; he felt some tightness in the muscle. But we are prepared: let’s focus on those who are here and not on those who are not.”
What kind of match will it be compared to the one against Salzburg? Amorim replied:
“There will be more quality in one-on-one situations, they will have more pace. I have already played here, I know that the level will be higher compared to the previous match. We are ready for this match, which will be different from the one in Salzburg.”
On Alphadjo Cisse:
“He is at 50% of his potential. That is how I see him. Camarda is also improving, he is working hard and is humble. Tomorrow, Cisse will have an opportunity to play, and he is ready to do so. But he is at 50%; he will improve a lot.”
