Speaking to DAZN after Milan-Bologna, Mike Maignan made the following statements:
What happened tonight?
“We lost because Bologna played better than us. It's a shame because we wanted to win. We had a plan in place for this game, but we didn't implement it. We'll talk about it tomorrow, but we play a lot, so we can't dwell on this negativity. Obviously, we're disappointed not to have won in front of our fans. Now we have to focus on getting back to winning ways straight away.”
It seems too easy to score goals at the moment...
“We need to improve in this aspect, we know it. Right now, we have the ball more and are more vulnerable on the counterattack.”
The derby is in three days... Maignan commented:
“We shouldn't lose our heads because we lost. We have to understand what went wrong. Bologna did better, and we have to understand why.”
