AC Milan are continuing their programme of securing their key players.
After Strahinja Pavlovic's contract renewal, the official announcement of Christian Pulisic's contract extension has also arrived, with the American signing a new deal until June 30, 2031. This is a decision that confirms Gerry Cardinale's strategy: securing the leaders in the dressing room and acting early, avoiding excessively long negotiations. For the American forward, this represents a significant step, especially considering that on two occasions, under the previous management, he had preferred to postpone the contractual matter.
This time, however, the two parties have reached an agreement. The financial recognition is also significant: Pulisic's net salary could reach around seven million euros per season, including bonuses. This is in line with what Milan had already budgeted for Gonçalo Ramos in the summer. After all, there was no shortage of interesting alternatives on the table. In the summer, Pulisic had received an offer from New York City worth around ten million dollars per year, but he chose to continue his adventure in the Rossoneri shirt.

Rabiot, contract renewal is the priority: Milan want to finalise it by December
The club does not intend to stop at the American's contract extension. There are, in fact, two other negotiations that the management wants to complete, starting with the one concerning Adrien Rabiot. The French midfielder, who is currently tied to Milan with a contract worth €3.5 million net per season, signed in August 2025, is at the centre of discussions over an improved financial package, as pointed out via Milan Press.
The club's intention is to formalise the agreement by the end of the year. This timeframe reflects Cardinale's approach, as he is determined not to let negotiations drag on for too long, both in the transfer market and when it comes to contract renewals.
Cissé also to be secured: new deal and salary increase
The other player destined to be further secured is Alphadjo Cissé. The young forward is Milan's top scorer this season, with seven goals in total between the league and the Europa League, following his brace against Bologna.
Cissé already has a contract until June 30, 2030, with a basic salary close to €800,000. In this case too, however, the club intends to recognise the player's development through an upward adjustment to his salary.
