The daily Turin-based newspaper, Tuttosport, in today's print edition, focused on the AC Milan new signings: Strahinja Pavlovic and Youssouf Fofana.
We read the following headline:
"Milan, Pavlovic and Fofana. To Parma with armor"
In fact, against Torino, the team appeared unbalanced, leading to heavy criticism of Paulo Fonseca for some of his lineup choices. As a result, he's considering several changes to the starting eleven to give his Milan more compactness and solidity.
Specifically, the Portuguese coach is contemplating starting both Pavlovic in defence and Fofana in midfield. The Serbian central defender was brought in for the competitive edge he brings, while the French midfielder is seen as the missing piece after the departures of Franck Kessie, Sandro Tonali, and even Rade Krunic.
