Hard times are expected for Ismael Bennacer, once again. Yesterday, the midfielder returned to Milan from Algeria, and a photo circulating online has not provided reassurance about his physical condition while awaiting further tests.

The photo, posted online, shows the former Empoli talent sitting in a wheelchair at the airport waiting area, with crutches beside him. In the evening, he also shared a story watching his Algeria teammates, with his calf bandaged.
This morning, Tuttosport provided an update on the situation:
"Tests for Bennacer: he risks at least three months of absence."
The midfielder will undergo further instrumental tests in Milan today to confirm what the Algerian national team's medical staff communicated to Milan: according to the North African team, Bennacer has suffered a third-degree calf tear.
If this is the case, the midfielder could be sidelined until December, which would also affect Milan's plans for a potential sale, as they were open to selling him in the summer.
