Former footballer and pundit Lele Adani, during a live Twitch broadcast on Viva El Futbol, discussed the current form of AC Milan's left-winger, Rafael Leao.
Here are his statements:
"You're hearing from someone who's always admired him. I can no longer approach the discussion of Leao the same way I did two years ago, first because 25 years old is not the same as 20 years old."
He added:

"The projections about what he seemed capable of, the level he could reach, and the type of player he is, led me to focus more on the beauty and positives than the rest. The truth is, we detail-oriented people, by nature, research, and passion, are always ready to accept the part of the player that seems to be doing you a favour rather than the part that wins you games."
Adani continued to talk about AC Milan's Rafael Leao:
"But everything has a limit," he said. "Sure, I know he might score two goals in the next game, dribbling past everyone, but who cares? You can’t live by talking about football, which is a team sport, just based on the joy or mood of one player. Here we have to assess the overall picture, which is gravely insufficient, almost unacceptable. Three years ago, no one in Italy would have chosen Doku over Leao. Jeremy Doku creates a scoring chance every two minutes: he works well in tight spaces, makes decisions, takes responsibility, and if he makes a mistake, he tries again; he doesn’t throw his arms up or turn to the crowd. The Belgian, in 70 minutes, takes on his man 135 times, shoots 12 times, and delivers 20 crosses."
Doku shows more passion and respect than Leao...
"Doku plays with a passion and respect that I have never seen from Leao. I need to go beyond the emotions a single move might provoke and show more respect for the game itself, otherwise I take back the respect when I become more lenient with Leao. I don’t want to disrespect those who listen to me."
