Former AC Milan player Alex Jimenez has officially become a new Fiorentina player. Below is the statement from the Viola club:
“ACF Fiorentina announces that it has acquired, on a temporary basis with an option to buy, the sporting rights of player Alejandro Jimenez Sanchez from AFC Bournemouth.
Jimenez, born in Leganés, Spain, on 8 May 2005, came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid before moving to Italy. With AC Milan, he made 26 Serie A appearances, 6 Coppa Italia appearances and 2 Supercoppa Italiana appearances, a competition he won in the 2024/25 season.
The new Viola player recorded 31 appearances and 1 goal in the Premier League last season. Jimenez has also represented the Spanish Under-21 national team on three occasions.”
