'Il Corriere dello Sport' newspaper in this morning's print edition wrote the following headline:
"Bad weather: Bologna - Milan postponed, but the League requests the game to be played behind closed doors. Today, the decision will be made."

Yesterday afternoon, the mayor of Bologna signed an ordinance to suspend the match scheduled for tomorrow at 6 PM CEST at Dall'Ara.
Serie A League, given the difficulty of finding a date to reschedule the game, is pushing for it to be played behind closed doors. A final decision will be made today.
These are the reasons behind the mayor's decision, as stated in the ordinance he signed yesterday:
'Following the flooding that has affected the Municipality of Bologna since October 19 in certain areas of the city,' the ordinance reads, 'and particularly in the Porto-Saragozza neighborhood (where the Dall’Ara Stadium is located), extensive restoration efforts are ongoing in public areas and private properties. The heavy rainfall over the past few days, along with the weather forecast, does not indicate a return to normalcy in the coming hours, especially considering the weather alert issued for tomorrow. Moreover, the Bologna-Milan game would bring approximately 35,000 people to the Dall'Ara Stadium on Via Andrea Costa, near the most critical area of the city, causing public order concerns with the presence of fans and traffic closures throughout the surrounding area from early afternoon until nighttime. All this would severely complicate ongoing operations and worsen the already challenging situation in the area, creating risks to people’s safety and security."
