According to Gianluca Di Marzio on 'Calciomercato - L'Originale', live on Sky Sport Italia, the AC Milan club management is targeting Saba Goglichidze, a 2004-born defender from Empoli.
It remains to be seen whether the move will be for June or now, potentially leaving the Georgian player on loan in Empoli until the end of the season, but the Rossoneri are very interested in the center-back.
Who is Milan's target Saba Goglichidze?
The 20-year-old centre-back in question is a former player of Georgian club Torpedo Kutaisi. He joined Empoli in the 2024 winter transfer market for a fee less than half a million euros. His current contract runs until the summer of 2027. He is right-footed and stands at 193 centimetres tall. So far this season, he has made 16 Serie A appearances with almost 1300 minutes played.
