La Gazzetta dello Sport, in this morning's print edition, today reported that yesterday the gates of Milanello remained closed, contrary to what Sergio Conceição, Milan's coach, had announced in interviews after the lost match against Torino.
The Portuguese coach, who had sent the schedule to the players once they returned to Milan, decided to give the team a day of rest and break, in order to resume training today, Monday, February 24, as they prepare for the rescheduled league match on Thursday evening at 'Dall'Ara' against Bologna.

The mistakes of individual players are impacting Milan's results, but also the morale and mindset of the players, who have been playing every three days since the start of January. Therefore, for Conceição, the team needed to recover both physical and mental energy.
Christian Pulisic, Milan's forward, rallied the fans with a post shared on his personal Instagram account.
"Really tough week. Hate letting down this amazing fan base. Will give everything to finish this season on a positive note," wrote 'Captain America'.
Today, at Milanello, La Gazzetta concluded that a review of the injured players would also take place. The recoveries of Kyle Walker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek seem difficult. It is likely that Conceição will reconsider his four-striker formation in favor of a more cautious and balanced setup.
