Sandro Tonali, midfielder for Newcastle and former Milan player, gave a long and interesting interview to 'U,' the monthly magazine of the newspaper 'La Repubblica,' in the edition published this morning on their website.

In the interview, the former Rossoneri midfielder discussed the transfer that saw him as the protagonist.
Here are his words:
"Born on May 8th like Baresi? Forty years apart, him from 1960 and me from 2000: a rare coincidence. The few times I wore the Milan captain's armband, I remember them all: against Empoli, against Torino in the Coppa Italia, against Chelsea in the Champions League. A couple of quick chats with Franco on this happened. He has always been an idol."
Tonali continued:
"I have always supported Milan, and my dad is a die-hard fan."
