At Milan, especially regarding the midfield, there is an air of revolution. It could not be otherwise when you decide to sell your best player, Tijjani Reijnders, who has been sold to Manchester City. Furthermore, Yunus Musah is also on his way out—the Rossoneri club is currently negotiating his departure with Napoli, although an agreement is still lacking on the major detail of the operation's bonuses. In this way, with Allegri’s arrival—who will likely include one more midfielder compared to the two used in recent seasons—Milan needs new reinforcements in the middle of the pitch.

Igli Tare has already secured the arrival of Luka Modric and is pushing for Granit Xhaka, two profiles with great experience. Work is also being done in parallel on a player with potential who, in the hierarchy, would replace Musah: the talk is about Javi Guerra from Valencia. These are the latest updates according to today’s edition of Tuttosport, which headlines:

“Milan, there is Guerra for Allegri’s 4-3-3.”

Then it continues between the preheading and the subtitle:

"The Rossoneri club already negotiated for Musah with Valencia two summers ago. A first offer of 20 million euros is ready for the mezzala: in the squad, he would take Musah’s very place, who is bound for Napoli.”
