Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, gave the following updates on Milan’s transfer market:
Yunus Musah:
"As for Nottingham Forest, Yunus Musah is not a priority target as of today. It’s true that there have been contacts, it’s true that he has been offered, but regarding Nottingham’s shortlist to strengthen the midfield, the American is not among the top positions. There are two other profiles they will try to go after, and then we’ll see if the English club eventually needs to turn to Musah. In any case, at the moment, it is not a hot negotiation.”

Breel Embolo:
“Milan is evaluating different profiles, but at the moment the Rossoneri are focused on Jashari. Talks for the striker will happen at the end of July or early August. I can confirm that Embolo from Monaco has been offered, but as of today everything has stopped at a simple proposal. The discussion hasn’t gone further, but it’s true that his profile has been proposed to the Rossoneri.”
On Milan's Malick Thiaw, Moretto said:
“The more time passes, the harder it becomes for Thiaw to say yes to Como. I’m told that it’s true Como is doing everything possible to try and convince him, but the German would like to continue playing in a European competition, if possible. There is some interest from the Premier League. Last year, Newcastle tried to sign Thiaw and today Newcastle is still looking for a central defender. So keep an eye on this lead—at the moment there’s nothing concrete, but I can confirm that Newcastle is also evaluating Thiaw, who, in addition to a return to Germany, would be interested in an experience in the Premier League.”
Guela Doué:
“A name that has been linked to Milan’s right flank is Guéla Doué, a full-back born in 2002 from Strasbourg who is a target for Sunderland.”
