After the defeat against Ferencvaros, Milan returned to training yesterday at Milanello, where Strahinja Pavlovic continued his individual training programme. Today's session is awaited to understand whether he will return to the group and, consequently, to the starting line-up at the centre of defence for tomorrow afternoon's delicate away match, at 3:00 PM CET, at Genoa.
Amorim, who two evenings ago thundered both behind the closed doors of the dressing room and in the post-match interviews, will field a line-up that should resemble the one that saw Milan win last Saturday's derby, also because the second-choice players were deeply disappointing in the Europa League, and this cannot fail to have consequences as far as the Portuguese coach's assessments are concerned.
Therefore, Gila, Modric, Moreira and Pulisic will all be seen again from the start, in no particular order, having all started on the bench two evenings ago and who, in Genoa, will have to put the ship back on the right course.

In the coming hours, Rossoneri owner Gerry Cardinale is expected in Italy. He did not appreciate at all the performance in the match lost against Ferencvaros and could also speak to the team.
What is certain is the desire to eradicate this "dark evil" that has taken root at Milanello since the weeks following the 2022 Scudetto, because Amorim is only the latest, chronologically, to repeat the same concepts and see the same things that had been highlighted by his predecessors, but also by some players who are no longer at Milanello today.
Meanwhile, Koni De Winter, who on Thursday ended up on the list of the worst players on the pitch because of mistakes that led to Ferencvaros' goals, has refused a call-up to the Belgian national team, as relayed via Tuttosport today.
During the long international break between the end of September and October, the Rossoneri defender had been called up by Mark van Bommel to be part of the squad, but he had never taken to the pitch.
Yesterday, the former Milan midfielder, now Belgium's national team coach, explained the situation: "It is his choice, I cannot do anything about it. I spoke to him and explained the situation. It has to be accepted, but this will have long-term consequences."
And he added: "He did not feel comfortable and decided not to come. He is 24 years old, he is a responsible person."
Van Bommel, however, will be able to count on the other Belgian eligible for selection at Milan, Diego Moreira, given that Alexis Saelemaekers is sidelined following surgery on his right ankle, which will keep him off the pitch for at least five months.
