For the defense, if Manuel Akanji does not arrive, Milan are considering Juan Foyth, the 1998-born defender from Villarreal.
Milan’s search for a central defender continues in these very last days of the transfer market. The Rossoneri have set their sights on Manuel Akanji for that role, having made their first offer today, August 29, to the Swiss player.
The 1995-born defender has not yet fully opened up to the move, partly due to his desire to remain in the Premier League. Tottenham are also interested in the Swiss center-back. The Rossoneri will persist in the coming hours and expect an answer tomorrow.
If the response is negative, the new idea for the Rossoneri is Juan Foyth of Villarreal, as per Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Argentine, born in 1998, took part in 19 league matches last season with the Spanish club.
