Serie A pauses for international fixtures.

Milan is one of the teams most affected, with Massimiliano Allegri facing a partial squad when training resumes ahead of the league restart. Among the key players called up by their national teams are Christian Pulisic and Santiago Gimenez, who will have to cover around 40,000 kilometers in just a few days.

The Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport reports on their upcoming commitments. The two Milan forwards, called up by the United States and Mexico respectively, will travel about 39,000 kilometers, nearly a full trip around the world, as the Earth's circumference is 40,000 km. Pulisic will play Saturday night in Austin against Ecuador, then fly to Denver to face Australia, a 1,500 km journey. He will finally return to Italy on a transatlantic flight of around 8,500 km, totaling roughly 18,800 km.

Santiago Gimenez will travel even further. The Mexican international faces Colombia Sunday night, covering the 8,500 km from Milan to Dallas, then flies to Guadalajara for a match against Ecuador. His return flight to Milan covers 10,000 km, bringing his total to 20,220 km. Allegri faces challenges, hoping both arrive in Italy fit for the league restart.
