Adrien Rabiot and Alphadjo Cisse are two of the three players, alongside Diego Moreira, who have made a major impact during the first part of AC Milan’s season. Goals, assists, important performances and the feeling that both Adrien and Alpha are approaching a significant moment in their careers. The French midfielder is currently the most dominant player in Serie A in midfield, if not the best player in the entire league.
He also played a decisive role in the derby, underlining the substantial difference between him and, for example, Nicolò Barella. Milan have been working for some time to tie Rabiot down to a new contract and are also in talks with Cisse’s representatives to improve the financial terms on the table.

Rabiot's Milan contract renewal: Figures and details
Starting with Adrien, it is worth recalling the current terms of his contract with Milan: the Frenchman earns a net base salary of €3.5 million, plus bonuses, with his contract running until 30 June 2028.
The new terms currently being discussed by the club and his mother, Veronique, include a substantial salary increase. His fixed salary is expected to come close to, if not match, Christian Pulisic's €6.5 million, with the contract either being extended until 30 June 2030, with an option for 2031, or directly until 30 June 2031.
Work is ongoing to finalise all the details, but there is a clear desire and intention to make Rabiot one of the team's leaders for the coming years.
Milan transfer news: Cisse after Rabiot
Alongside the negotiations over Rabiot, Milan are also speaking with Alphadjo Cisse’s representatives to improve the terms of his contract.
He currently earns around €800,000 per year, and his salary could increase significantly, potentially doubling, with his contract extended beyond its current expiry date of 30 June 2030. This was reported by Milan News.
