International break gives reason for reflection on Milan and its players. The focus is on Rafa Leao, who has shown positive form in goals and attitude in recent matches.

Against Roma, he provided the decisive assist for Pavlovic, and against Parma, he scored his second penalty, though it proved useless for the final result. Rafa, however, is more than this. Could this be the turning point?

Leao's attitude is finally right...

We've all noticed it. Leao on the field in the last two league matches is different. Against Roma at San Siro, he put in a performance full of effort and fight, capped by an excellent assist for Pavlovic. After a difficult start to the season, including an early injury, he has managed to react. Did criticism after the Juventus game help? Yes. But Allegri's guidance, almost like a father figure to Leao, has surely shaped both his season and his behavior.

How has Leao been in the last four league games?

In the last four league games, Leao has often made a concrete impact on Milan's results. He scored the opener against Pisa. Against Atalanta, he played poorly due to a hip problem, as relayed via Milan News, but he returned decisively with an assist against Roma. He scored again in Parma from a penalty. The problem? Apart from Pulisic, who is finally returning from injury, Milan struggles to score up front. Gimenez has yet to make an impact and remains goalless in Serie A. Nkunku has only one goal, in the Coppa Italia. Milan's season, and Leao's, is about to enter a decisive phase. One attacker alone is not enough.
