Como's head coach, Cesc Fabregas, spoke at the press conference after Milan vs Como, the rescheduled match from the 24th round of Serie A.
Here are his statements:
Allegri is not satisfied with your apology...
"I apologize once again. Allegri’s comment was exaggerated, it was just a slight touch, but it should not have happened. As Chivu said: hands to yourself, especially if you are a coach. I would have been angry too. Words spoken right after a match are always a bit heated. I apologize again to Mister Allegri. I had already done so with Modric and with Maignan as well. I hope this never happens again in my career."
Your first point at San Siro...
"I had not even realized it was my first point at San Siro, but I am satisfied. Today we did everything better than Milan. Our first goal kick came in the 70th minute. It is a shame about Saelemaekers not being sent off, it was very clear and there were 12 minutes left, with our fresh players on the pitch. Still, I liked the team, especially after the performance against Fiorentina, which is the only match we truly got wrong. Of course it is easy to find motivation at San Siro. Now we need strength and energy for Juventus."
Did you like the team?
"I am proud. Not every team comes to face Milan like this. But you have to understand that when you are at the very top level, you cannot make any mistakes. The only thing I ask is that we play with identity. Nico Paz did well as a false nine, Baturina did well, Sergi Roberto feels like a new signing. Next week Diao should be back."
Why a three-man defense? Fabregas commented:
"I do not focus too much on formations. It depends on the match, on where the opponents are strong, or where we can make things difficult for them. I thought that with three center backs and the flanks occupied we could manage counterattacks better. Milan like to wait and then hurt you, as happened in Como. Today we tried to give them the ball, waiting a bit more and seeing what they would do in possession. Usually we are the ones who create. Today we approached it in a slightly different way. We did not allow their best player to play."
